TWD: Yet. Another. Cookie. (Buttery Jam!)

Welp, I am officially underwhelmed. After many straight weeks of recipe hits, this buttery jam cookie from Dorrie Greenspan's cookbook, Baking, from My Home to Yours, was a tasteless, texture-free flop. And that dough was so sticky! So hard to get off the spoon! Ah well, win some, loose some.

And it's not like I'm not eating the durned things. For more (and more interesting) takes on this cookie that sticks in your throat like the words "I broke your blender", go to Tuesdays with Dorrie.

Sorry these weren't quite for you - maybe try dunking them in tea? Spreading jam on them? I mean, if you're going to eat them, you might as well enjoy them, right?

Sorry these weren't your favorite, but I'm sure one of the next ones will be yummy. I'm really looking forward to the cheesecake!

Sorry these were such a bummer for you. Sandwhich them with some chocoate, I hear that chocolate fixes everything!

Too bad you didn't like them. I read some comments and know I have to make them. I read others and know I am glad I didn't. Funny how that works. Maybe next time.
